Richard Baxter's travels through 50 African nations.
A blog for family, friends and anyone else who’d like to read about my trips through Africa.
Rough itinerary for the next few months
From Sudan I’ll spend two weeks in Egypt and then fly to Algeria. After Algeria my next stop in Africa will be Togo and Ghana, followed by the Ivory Coast and Liberia. Leaving Liberia I’ll cross through Eastern Guinea into Sierra Leone and then back across Guinea to Guinea Bissau and hopefully the Bijagos Achipelago, eventually making my way to Dakar.
From Dakar I’ll fly to Cape Verde and then Sao Tome, followed by Gabon and hopefully Equatorial Guinea. Somewhere along the way I’ll take a couple of detours in South Sedan and the Central African Republic.
Then I’ll spent a few weeks in East Africa (Burundi and Eritrea) prior to Madagascar, The Comoros, Mauritius, Seychelles and a couple of non-African Islands like Reunion and Rodrigues…….
